Plantlife, in conjunction with the Woodland Trust, have been working with Squirrels Class on a very exciting project which brilliantly supports their current topic of ‘Woodland Habitats.’ A group of children visited Hembury Woods to collect native tree seeds, then the whole class helped plant them and set up a tree nursery. As we know, it takes a long time for a tree to grow, so this will be a VERY long term science project!
