Charmouth
Y3/4 visit to Charmouth
Squirrels and Hares spent a lovely sunny day at Charmouth. The Chief Warden was very interesting and enthusiastic about the geology and history of the beach and cliffs. She led a wonderfully exciting fossil hunt where everyone found something, from tiny belemnite and crinoid fossils to ammonites and Fool's Gold. After lunch, we had time to play on the sand before we chose a large, flat pebble for our upcoming art lessons. What an exciting day!
