Manor Pre-School is situated in the grounds of Manor Primary School. The pre-school has operated under the leadership and governance of the school since April 2016. Manor Primary School was rated by Ofsted as ‘Outstanding’ in all categories, including Early Years Provision, in February 2016. Although many of our children go on to Manor Primary School, this is not a requirement and children destined for other settings are equally welcomed and valued.

The pre-school is open from 8.45am to 2.45pm and the day is split into morning, lunchtime and afternoon sessions. Children may also attend the school’s ‘Kids’ Club’ which provides childcare for children ages 2-11, and is open from 7.30am, and after school until 6pm, providing wrap-around care for working families.

Manor Pre-School incorporates purpose-built facilities including bespoke indoor and outdoor spaces. The children also have full supervised access to the school’s grounds, including a large playground ideal for games and trikes; a yurt which provides an ‘outdoor classroom’; an extensive field with an adventure play area; a large covered area ideal for rainy days; and a ‘secret garden’ with a decked pond where the children can be taken for pond-dipping. The children also use the school hall for indoor PE sessions, and the outdoor heated swimming pool during the summer months.
